if we only could have invisible weapons and use their paws instead. They fit the part, but the weapons make them always feel off. Gnomes - while tinkerers are not coming across magic wielders either and they are often portrayed like engineering/tinkerer warrior-types.
For example most of my warriors are night elves because of the very ‘in character’ feel. Because not all elves come across as nature or ‘magic’ wielding. On alliance - besides humans I feel elves may fit the role of a warrior archetype. Which is strengthened by original cinematic even more. Other thing that nature connection and mountains make me think is hunters and mountaineers. Dwarves have connection to those birds and this does not scream “warrior” to me. Like the whole gryphon business for example. For some reason their clans and characters always make me think of taking care of elements or nature. For me a dwarf does not feel very warrior alike. Dwarves feel a but more elemental types, or use light and lean towards paladin behaviour. I was not 100% sure which forum to post this question in (I assumed it would be the lore forum), if it is in the wrong forum, then I request a moderator to please shift it to the correct form.įor me a proper warrior is an orc or human. I Would really appreciate answers/opinions because I really enjoy levelling my warrior but this nagging doubt in my mind is stopping me from fully enjoying this aspect of the game. This raises the question, which race and spec combination has more justification, is it:ī) Dwarven Arms Warrior/Protection Warrior. It seems to me that Dwarves seem fit for playing a fury warrior on account of the mountain king, but I’m not sure how well they fit the arms warrior archetype, or the protection warrior archtypeĬonversely, I feel humans seem to fit into the arms warrior archetype, and arguably the but I don’t know how much justification is there to play them as fury warriors (Although King Varian Wrynn comes to mind) I was reading the lore and the forums and it seems that it is narrowed down to Dwarf vs Human. I want to level my warrior, but for immersion reasons I want to do it as a race that has decent lore justification for playing as all three specs, i.e, Arms, Fury and Protection.
This in turn has prevented me from fully enjoying levelling my warrior, and thus its affecting my fun to a significant extent. I understand that class specialisations may not have any direct relation to roleplay but I like being immersed in my character lorewise when I play them.
